About Us

Like the name suggests, it is a center whose activities center on the child. We work for the child's interests.

We are working on basics like education and health. We are holistic in our approach and very hands-on in our style. We are out there on the grounds, where it matters most for the child. We empower families and communities. We have a number of grassroots initiatives.

We have created numerous successes now and are connecting with ever-increasing marginalized children.

Dr. Ambedkar Sanskriti Foundation aims at a better future for the most vulnerable children in India. We partner with communities at the grassroots at the same time with supporters from India and around the world, civil society, corporates, and local and national governments to create an environment in which all the children are educated, healthy, protected, and valued.

Work occurs through Area Development Programmes (ADPs). This model of development was long-term contact in a geographical area (usually contiguous) to transform lives of children and communities. The initiation of an ADP usually starts with an assessment of the community needs and then creates an integrated plan of action with the community vision for its children.

We will look together on what is done, what can be done, and what can be done together. Programs on nutrition, health care, water, sanitation, good education, and livelihood are the focus through which we work for children's sustained well-being. In a way, ensuring a secure childhood encompasses all our work, which we try to do by working towards building communities safe and fit for children.
